Director of the Instituto Cervantes of Brussels.
Birth: Ontinyent, 4th February, 1943
Education: Degree in Philosophy and Literature. Doctoral degree in Hispanic Philology and Head of the secondary education teaching staff since 1993.
Has held teaching positions at the North Devon Technical College (UK), University of La Laguna, Las Palmas Polytechnic University; Los Realejos and Poeta Viena (Tenerife), Telde and La Ortova secondary schools; Lycée Spagnol of Paris, University of Vienna, Institut für Romanistik, Instituto Cervantes of Viena and the Dolmetschinstitut of the University of Vienna.

Was Deputy Head of the San Agustin Student Residence, Senior School Headmaster of the Telde Baccalaureate Institute, Headmaster of the Luther King Institute, Deputy Head of the Lycée Spagnol of Paris, Director of the first Instituto Cervantes in Vienna and the current Director of the Instituto Cervantes in Brussels.

Conference speaker and lecturer on Spanish and Latin American writers. He has published poems, short stories and essays on language, literature and translations, for which he has received the Siurell award, granted by the Club Última Hora and the Xonecuilli 2006 award, granted by the Espacio Latinoamericano Association, among others, in recognition of his poetic work.

Has been awarded the Commendation for Civil Merit and the Numerary Member Commendation of the Order of Isabella the Catholic, and is also an Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Jávea.
