The founders of the Forum assessed the suitability of establishing the Foundation in JÁVEA because it has historically been a common meeting place of civilazations and cultures and also because a vast multinational, highly participative, foreign colony resides there that is keenly interested in conoslidating Jávea as an international focal point. Adding to this, the foreign population has always distinguished itself for welcoming and integrating all those who visit. thus growing and becoming a cosmopolitan location on the Mediterranean Coast, without sacrificing its local identity. In this way, Jávea becomes a point of reference for Mediterranean dialogue. 

Located in the centre of the Old Town, the building is divided in two parts, one that has been restored and the other of new construction.
